Mmn... There's no need to be so serious about this! All of my foreign friends type this, and I certainly type this a lot too. It's not being lazy, it's just a faster way to type. Talking about "LOL", I believe it started in some chatrooms, and got further developed on instant messengers, such as MSN, AIM. Anyway, I don't think it's bad or something, although some people do use it a little bit too much, people like me!!
