As a female, yes, sometimes I do wonder where have all the good man gone? (and will probably compose a new song from this theme ^^) But whenever I do come across good guys that seem all too perfect except a little conservative; or guys that know exactly how to please girls but turn out to be a little too cocky; or guys that are still pending about life choices, yet young and energetic and optimistic about how the world is... well, I feel lucky to be in Taiwan...cause we females actually get to witness the growing progress of men and the whole society here on this island. And on the other hand, I think males also get to experience the growth of women and social value around them. We hear groans all the time, whether it's from bbs, from informal lunch chats, or from your close relatives at a reunion party...but as years go by, I've learnt to read more from the lines, and NEVER EVER judge according to what you see on the surface, as there will always be angles missed no matter whichever point of view you took. Complaining/ cynical souls aren't always the loosers, and yet, those who seem to lead a perfect life maybe potential depressionists. Anyway, what I wanted to say, as a female, is to stay open minded about all this that is happening in our society, take a step back and enjoy being part of this change. Have some hope, cause you never know who you will run into when you turn around the corner, it might be one of the guys that you once look down on that gave you a crush the way he has turned into. --
