Harmony and fairness are the fundamentals of living for the world Harmony, which means the peaceful, amicable, and cooperative association among team members, is also the representation of love among each other. If the relationship among the members in a family, one team, or in the whole society can be harmonious, all members need to be considerate, thoughtful, and tolerant of others' feelings, conditions, and emotions without envy at all. Fairness, which means treating others without discrimination, is an exhibition of thoughtfulness and righteousness. Harmony is established on the basis of fairness. Without fairness among people, there must be someone who act right but feel they are despised or humiliated by others. This could be a public violation of human rights. I think that harmony and fairness are the fundamentals of living for the world. Harmony plays a crucial role everywhere. In the present days, harmony and fairness seem to be more significant. The life of people has escaped from the age that striving only for safety and food. People put more emphasis on more spiritual needs in daily life, such as affections and the sharing of emotions among each other. Without harmony, conflicts and quarrels occur oftener, and the life of people is filled with uneasiness, restlessness, and disturbance. Thus, the elegance, gracefulness, and concern among team members are lost, which are just the uppermost things we pursue in life. Is it the kind of life we want to achieve ? However, the achievement of harmony is not easy, which is mainly resulted from the fairness among each other. The fairness in one's mind is whether or not he can treat others with indiscriminate kindness, thoughtfulness, and mercifulness to othres. It is just everyone's self-cultivation and temperament. For example, if some of the staff in a company make projects about a subject regularly, and the division of labor is very specific, then it's pardonable that certain part of the projects may not be done very well, some faults may occur in these projects. If the boss always criticize all small faults severely, the morale of all the project members is reduced. And if the leader of the project team always unfairly divids the works to team memebers, or some members are very arrogant and incooperative and always complain about the works divided to them, or some members hate someone and always treat them with craftiness, it would be almost impossible for them to keep harmonious and peaceful. It is just the scanty of fairness. There is a good example about it .John F. Kennedy, the president of the U.S. in 1960, is said to be one of the greatest presidents in the U.S. During the two years when he was a president, he made efforts for the peace of America with the fighter of civil rights, Martin Luther King. He also dealt with the Cubian Missile Crisis very well and saved American from an potential danger of the third world war. One year after he was assassinated, the Civil Rights Act was enacted in 1964, which is the milestone of the civil rights. He spared no efforts to uplift the harmony and fairness of America. It is really a good example to show that harmony and fairness are the fundamentals of living for the world. In conclusion, if all people want have a good life with gracefulness and elegance, the fairness and harmony need to be kept in mind. Once all people can really treat anyone without discrimination, and be thoughtful and merciful to what others do, it's really blissful to life for the world. --
