I want to share my experience with everybody. I never had a English name before entering college. However, people like to call me "routine" because it sounds like my Chinese name. Actually, I didn't mind because it really sounds like my Chinese name. After entering college, I still called myself "routine." It sounded normal to my classmates and one of my foreign teacher. However, the other foreign teacher thought my name was too odd. Sometimes he would tell me to change my name. When I was a sophomore, I changed my name. I picked an ordinary name that you would heard on the street very often. However, one day, my foreing teacher asked me about why I changed my name. He told me that my name was very unique. I thought that he was right. He might know thosands of Mary but he only knew one Routine. Isn't it?
