标题[Ask ] for a word...

hi~
i wonder if anyone knows the word that describe the ulceration occurred
on the mucous membrane of mouth?
i've heard someone told me that it's something like "kangersoar"(random
spelling~) but i'm not so sure of listening correctly...
so, if anyone knows this word, feel free to response ok~ thanks!!
