Yes, I do agree that people should have teh courage to say goodbye to the past. However, by that, I don't think it's necessarily true that you have to literally forget everything that ever happened between you and the girl. Because I believe that, no matter what happened, even if teh memory is painful, or seemingly not worth remembering, there's a lesson to be learned. I think this is why I've always kept a diary. I want to treasure my memories forever. And that's all memories, good or bad. I think to say good bye to teh past is to let go of the feelings that go with the memories, especially negative feelings. However, that takes time, just like most things. And it's not easy either. But anyhow, I wish you all the best~ --
