But I still consider it quite suitable for beginners. : maybe that's just cuz i read without understanding their background and maybe you can take some courses if you are interested in those hard-to-interpreted things. Being guided by Profs' lecture does help a lot when dealing with these kinds of readings. : like stream of consciousness, the writers wrote down every sentence : with profound implicatoins, but it's hard to me to get it : well, i just like to read novels in all kinds of styles : but i don't know what to read in the summer time : that would be very nice of u to recommend some of the masterpieces to me.... : and easier, better :p A writer called "Alain de Botton", his writings could be kind of inspiring and interesting, and i recommend his novels to you. 《Eassys in Love》 《The Romantic Movement》 《Kiss and Tell》 《How Proust Can Change Your Life》 《Consolations of Philosophy》 all the 5 Books mentioned above have Chinese-translated versions published. --
