The fundamental working principle of MOS device is providing a
stable bias voltage, not easily affected by the power, temperature,
and any kind of noise, in order that we could use MOS device to serve as
digital logic switch or basic analog circuit element.
What we do to provide the specific voltage level is called "bias".
