问题:
2.An individual has the utility U(h,c)=hc (h:leisure , c:consumption ; Pc=1)
There 24 hours in a day,and w=$1 is the market wage rate per hour.Non-earned
income is $10.Please compute the compensating variation and equivalent
variation to the individual for each of the following government policies.
(1)The government decides to impose an income tax in both the wage income and
non-earned income.The tax rate is 50%
(2)The government decides to impose a minimum hourly wage as $2 per hour only
for the first 3 hour.
(3)The government decides to impose a minimum work-hour requirement as 8 hours
per day.
我的想法:
一开始是
maxU=hc
s.t N+h=24 N是工作时数
c=N+10
所以限制式变成c+h=34
解出h=c=17 U=17^2
(1)
max U=hc
s.t N+h=24
c=(1/2)(N+10)
限制式变成2c+h=34
那CV是要求 min E=2c+h
s.t 17^2=hc吗??
(2)
max U=hc
s.t N+h=24
c=2N+10 if h>=21
N+13 if h<21
限制式就变成c+2h=58 if h>=21
c+h=37 if h<21
这题如果用跟(1)一样的方法 CV EV 都会是零@@!
还是我根本就想错方向了

2F：推 papapapain:把图画出来就会知道在h<21预算线部分斜率不变 02/22 01:19
3F：→ papapapain:价格相同下,EV=CV=3 02/22 01:19
4F：→ papapapain:其实就是前三个小时的加薪部分 02/22 01:20
5F：→ papapapain:你可以把改变後的h*=18.5 02/22 01:22
6F：→ papapapain:带进前後的预算限制线就会发现c相差3,应该是这样啦^^ 02/22 01:23
