看过板上的录取文
其中一篇提到他修过微积分,经数,Probability Theory,Introduction to Analysis I
还说这样的背景其实不够
我有查过一些学校的要求
虽然多提到要有数学背景但是也没很详细的说明要修哪些课
我看过UCLA的网站提到Mathematical preparation is also essential. This should
include a minimum of one year of probability and statistics, and two years of
calculus. Additional coursework in mathematics and statistics, especially
linear algebra, matrix algebra, advanced probability theory, mathematical
statistics and real analysis, is highly recommended.
感觉除了linear algebra跟stats剩下好像他都修过了
在我的学校拿完这些课大概有一个math minor
所以难道要double major math跟econ才够用吗?
我有打算double major 但是如果Math minor够用的话 实在不想再花一年念大学
所以想请教一下板友 想申请好的phd program 到底要拿多少数学课才有竞争力
