标题关於检查linux是否能够用来写程式....

请问一下
因为实验室有现成的linux主机
所以我想请问一下
要怎麽样才能检查那些compiler, makefile和debugger有没有被安装好了呢?
另外，
Mac Server好像也是Unix-like based的，
是不是也能拿来写作业....
