The Los Angeles Dodgers are chasing free agent right fielder
Torii Hunter, USA Today Sports has reported, citing a high-ranking
Dodgers official who spoke on condition of anonymity because of
continuing negotiations.
躲人有意追求猎人Torii Hunter.
Hunter spent the past five seasons with the Los Angeles Angels,
hitting .313 with 16 home runs and 92 RBIs this past season.
The Dodgers already have right fielders Andre Ethier and Scott
Van Slyke on the roster.
猎人待在天使5年, 去年成绩: 打击率.313, 16支全垒打, 92分打点.
According to USA Today, Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti
would not comment on whether Ethier -- a two-time All-Star who signed
a five-year, $85 million contract extension in June -- was being made
available. Colletti said he did not have any trade discussions this
week at the GMs meetings in Indian Wells, Calif., the newspaper reported.
Colletti told the newspaper he would not discuss any free agents,
including Hunter.
