He entered defensively in the bottom of the eighth, and his spot in the order never came up in the ninth. But he was on the field, in uniform -- something of an accomplishment in itself. The utility infielder, who had logged big league time each of the past three seasons, was told he was being called up from Triple-A Albuquerque for the first time in 2010 at about 1 a.m. Thursday, when he was awakened by a ringing phone. Hu took the roster spot of shortstop Rafael Furcal, who was placed on the bereavement list and flew home to the Dominican Republic to be with an ill relative. Hu said he was on a flight out of Albuquerque at 7:05 a.m. He landed at a little before 2 p.m. ET and was at the ballpark by about the fourth or fifth inning. He said after the game he didn't even know what the circumstances were that led to his call-up and that he hadn't been told that his stay in the majors might be a short one. Players on the bereavement list must miss at least three games, but they can miss no more than seven games. 原来Hu凌晨1点在睡梦中接到电话~~ 早上七点零五分的飞机~~ 下午两点飞到目的地~~ 然後到球场的时候已经第四第五局了.... 第八局就上场了~~~ 都没有人告诉他为啥被call up~~ 他也不知道最多就只会待七场比赛.... 比有人受伤放进15天伤兵名单的时间少了一半多 =.= --
