A defensive specialist, Repko hadn't shown enough offensive production in recent years to prevent the Dodgers from signing Reed Johnson as the fourth outfielder after Juan Pierre was traded away, then adding Garret Anderson. "The only disappointment is they didn't show faith in me in the offseason," he said. "Definitely, it's a relief. There was no opportunity here. Now I'll go out and find a team to give me the opportunity I'm looking for. This is not the first time I didn't fit in the picture.
