Wade, who was a key component of the Dodgers' bullpen in 2008, going 2-1 with a 2.27 earned run average in 55 appearances, struggled in 2009. In 27 games with Los Angeles this season, the 26-year-old was 2-3 with a 5.53 ERA, allowing one fewer earned run in that span than all of 2008 (18-17). Another young bullpen contributor, rookie Ronald Belisario, was sent to begin a rehab assignment with Single-A San Bernardino, starting Tuesday.
