Dodgers designated outfielder Chin-Feng Chen for assignment.
We'll be interested to see if anyone grabs Chen. He hasn't been in the
Dodgers' plans for quite some time, so he wouldn't have been expensive
to acquire previously. Now he'll come at just the price of a waiver
claim. The 27-year-old Chen, once a top prospect, hit .289/.359/.584 for
Triple-A Las Vegas last season. He could be a useful right-handed bat
off the bench.
