Close sources to the world No. 1 confirmed that Amanovic ended his co-operation with Milos Raonic and started w orking with Djokovic again. It does not mean that the 14-time Grand Slam winner ended his co-operation wit h Buddy Ulises, a physiotherapist with who he successfully worked in the last year and a half. While Vajda and Gritsch came back to work with Djokovic in Ap ril this year, Amanovic had to wait December as he had signed a one year and a half contract with Raonic. Announcing his split with Djokovic, in April 2017 Amanovic had written: 'Novak is my best friend and like a brother for me. I spent more time with him than with my family in the last decade. Nothing changes in our relationship, becaus e we are connected on many levels.I will always be there for him and I will be happy to see him winning all the tournaments and using his potential.' After his loss to Alexander Zverev at the ATP Finals in London, Djokovic said: 'Heal th-wise I haven't been really perfect in the last three, four weeks.That took a lot out of me. But at the same time, I played finals of Bercy and here. I me an, I have to be happy with that result. Of course, finishing the year as No. 1, that was the goal coming into the indoor season.
