I am still overwhelmed with excitement and joy from my latest achievement. Laying in bed now and thinking "Novak, you are 4 times AO champion". That's quite something, right? I will have to repeat it in my mind for a while to sink in. I had incredible journey in the past few weeks, and I managed to overcome some very tough challenges to be where I am today. I can proudly say I learned a lot and I enjoyed every moment of my stay in Australia starting from Perth, all the way to Melbourne. Even though Australia is quite down under, very far from home, I never felt alone. I always had my team and you by my side. Guys, you were unbelievable these past few weeks! So many messages, letters... I felt how excited you were to see me play, and how much you missed me on the court during the off season. So many of you came to watch my matches and practices, and I was lucky enough to have a chance to inspire some of you to start playing tennis, too. I had a lot of memorable moments with each of you, and most of your words touched my heart. I love tennis not only because it brings happiness, excitement and stability in my life, but also because I got to have you - millions of you around the world watching me and supporting me. We have unbelievable power in our hands my friends, we can inspire many people around us to do good things, to play sport, to study and fight for better lives. We are all part of one team, one family - no matter the race, religion, sex or origin. We all share the same passion and love for this sport. So thank you for these wonderful couple of weeks and for believing in me. And guess what? This is just the start of the year! Plenty of things ahead of us, starting from tomorrow morning...
