前提是
1. Netflix APP 在 Google TV 上是最新版。
2. Andorid TV (Google TV) 12 以上版本，因为 frame rate matching 是
Android TV 12 才开始提供的功能。
Added in Android TV OS 12, frame rate matching allows your TV to match the
frame rate of the content being viewed, rather than display everything at the
same frame rate. This helps to reduce “jutter” in the content, and just
leads to a better overall viewing experience.

不是，主要是你拍摄的东西不同所使用的 frame rate 是不同的。

「符合影格率」：开启此选项可让 Apple TV 4K 或 Apple TV HD 使其更新频率配合内容
的原始影格率。这适用於以不同影格率母带拍摄的内容，例如，拍摄格式为 24fps 的内
容或其他国际内容*。
*Apple TV 可配合 60、50、30、25 和 24fps 编码内容的影格率。影格率会配合你所在
地区适合的更新频率，例如适用於 NTSC 的 29.97fps。25fps 和 30fps 内容会使用双倍
影格率，以 50Hz 和 60Hz 显示（可用时），不但可配合它的原始外观，同时也保留流畅
的使用者介面。
如如我文中那个 YouTube 影片里
《 The Witcher 》支持 24.000 fps，而纪录片《the documentary Arnold 》据说使用
23.976 fps，这是电影制片人呼吁停止使用的旧标准，转而使用 24 fps。 与此同时，像
《Tour de France: Unchained 》这样的内容可以达到 50-60 fps。
如果没有 frame rate matching，全部都拉到 4K@60 的话，那有时候再切片转换过程中
可能会出现抖动 (jutter) 情形，影响观影体验。
其实这项功能就很像 HDMI 2.1 的 QMS 功能

Netflix's three solutions
While frame rate matching is a job for the playback device, Netflix and other
streaming apps can help by supporting the technical solutions out there.
Netflix explains that it now uses three approaches:
1. Match HDMI frame rate to content Native Frame Rate
2. Match HDMI frame rate to content Native Frame Rate w/o screen blanking
(HDMI 2.1 QMS)
3. Frame Rate Conversion within Netflix App
The first one is the one you find in media players with frame rate matching.
It works but every time there is a switch between frame rates you see a black
screen momentarily (HDMI Bonk). The streaming app must also actively support
it or use the streaming player's default video player.
The second one (QMS) is new and only supported by Apple TV 4K (2022), which
is also the only device with automatic system-level frame rate matching – a
requirement for proper QMS. You can see how QMS works on Apple TV 4K in our
video article here.
