But Parker's pinpoint control suggests he could very well enjoy the same type of year as he did in 2008, when he finished 12-5, 3.44 with 117 strikeouts in 118 innings at low Class A South Bend. Perhaps the year-round work has helped Parra get off to a start, and with 11 walks and just two strikeouts he's taken a good approach to the plate. A disciplined hitter with a sweet lefthanded swing, Parra's bat is the best in Arizona's system. --
