Songo'o will turn 40-years old next season, but just got promoted with his current club to the highest French season. Earlier this week he spent some time in La Coruna and spoke to La Voz de Galicia, about his present situation, his future and his family. Q: Will you stay at Metz next season? A: I don't think so, because my contract has expired and my agent is listening to offers. My wish is to return to Spain, because I like the Liga much more than the French competition. In Spain there's much more intensity surrounding football and it's more competitive. Q: So you want to return to the Primera Division? A: Man, that would be great! A: They also want to return to Spain. Even better, my wife and my youngest son Jann will return to La Coruna next year, independent of what I will be doing at that time.
