MALLORCA 0 - CELTA 2: Pandiani's team paid the price for the Copa success against Deportivo as they lost a Liga home match again. Celta were much more effective and two strikes of Edu brought them three vital points to stay in the hunt for a Champions League spot. BARCELONA 2 - ATHLETIC 2: Even a 2-0 lead was not enough for Barcelona to secure three points as their nerves brought Athletic back into the match to snatch a draw.
