But when a team is not functioning as well as it should be players usually have less restrictions to speak to the press about their ideas and thoughts. This time striker Luque spoke about the relationship he has with Irureta and the incidents with marked the match against Osasuna, as part of the crowd opposed the coach for his substitution of Makaay when the match was level at 1-1. "With five minutes left we should go out to win, to attack and not to defend. That’s why it surprised me that Makaay was taken off as the match was level. But I am not the one in charge," the Catalan striker said.
