Peter and Kristina Stokkebroe announce retirement from competitive dancing http://www.dancesportinfo.net/Articles/7119.aspx Yesterday, during the finals of the International Championships Peter and Kristina Stokkebroe announced that they decided to retire from competitive dancing. There was lots of tears and emotions when they danced to "It's hard to say goodbye". Peter and Kristina were the multiple Amateur and profesiona Danish Latin champions, winners of many prestigious competitions, finalists of the World championships. Last year they took a break from dancing due to arrival of their first child, a son, who was born in Novemeber 2009. They returned to the floor back in the beginning of 2010 and won the WDC Professional World South American Showdance championships in May 2010. See more results and photos It is sad to know that amazing couple is no longer going to compete. It was a pleasure to watch them dance, they were one of the most characteristic couples in the Professiona Latin field, both blonde and with their own unique style of dress.
