He said after Nash left, the Mavs took a hit in basketball IQ that they never replaced. He said to let Nash come down and shoot an open three was totally stupid. He felt they should have won this series, but thay made too many errors to win in the playoffs. Dirk said that Stack had a decent look at the three at the end, but probably 28 other teams in the NBA would have called a timeout in that situation. Dirk is not sure how you improve your basketball IQ as a team. He said that is tough to answer. 这一段与前文的有些类似就不翻了 On his three at the end, he said he knew the team needed a 3 with 10 seconds left and felt he had a good look at it. But, then the team won the first round even he though he had a subpar series at best. It was great for the regular season, but that style didn't take us anywhere in the playoffs. AJ changed the system to get more of a low post presence. He is still most comfortable and effective facing up from 15 feet. Houston and Phoenix were smart to put a smalller defender on him and make him do something that he doesn't feel too comfortable doing yet, which is posting up. Dirk knows his post game has to get a lot better.
