标题[情报] Tigers and Galarraga agree to 1-year deal

Tigers and RHP Armando Galarraga avoided arbitration Monday by agreeing
to a one-year, $2.3 million contract.
Galarraga was arbitration-eligible for the first time this winter. The
29-year-old right-hander went 4-9 with a 4.49 ERA over 144 1/3 innings
last season, including his near perfect game in June.
If everything
breaks right for the Tigers, Galarraga is likely the odd-man out in the
starting rotation. The club could simply release him during spring
training, but they'll likely either keep him in the bullpen or shop him
before Opening Day.
