我觉得其实他是在问你台湾有什麽好玩的，他应该知道你是台湾人 还有在台湾吧！如果他不是要你介绍台湾，网路上那麽多人可以找， 为什麽找你不找其他人，新加坡的状况，新加坡人可能比我们了解吧！ 这就是我们为什麽要学translation, 因为你要用英文介绍你的故乡 给外国人知道。 : well i was going to come to taiwan but then you talk me out of it : you talk me into not going to taiwan : 急忙着解释我没那个意思 他又说出他的感觉 : you give me lots of reasons not to go : you tell me all these things and say i should go somewhere else : you didnt say it exactly implied it : 我说听到他要去新加坡时有点失望 可能是中国人有时不会直接说出想法 : i did not know you cared about it that much : i thought you were trying to convince me to see else where : you are just modest which is a good thing... : but sometimes i cannot pick up those type of hints : 结论是 : we are lost in translation! --
