标题[情报] Cubs set to acquire IF Tracy

The Chicago Cubs will announce on Wednesday that they have signed former
Arizona Diamondbacks infielder Chad Tracy to a minor league contract,
according to a major league source.
If Tracy makes the Cubs' big-league roster, he would earn $900,000, plus up
to an additional $525,000 if he gets 450 plate appearances, a source familiar
with the contract told ESPN.com's Jayson Stark. The deal also contains award
incentives, including a $100,000 comeback-player-of-the-year bonus.
Tracy hit .237 in 2009 with eight home runs and 39 RBIs. His best season was
2005 when he hit 27 homers and had 72 RBIs while batting .308 for Arizona.
The 29-year-old will have an opportunity to back up first base and third
base, and he'll be competing with Micah Hoffpauir as the left-handed bat off
the bench.
