This band made 2 records and in 2012 took a sabbatical break for an unlimited time. Meanwhile, Lynn and Pak Yan went their own ways. Both share the love for sounding objects, free structures and improvisation. After studying at ‘de Kunsthumaniora’ of Antwerp, she received her ‘Bachelor Degree in Music’ in 2006 at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. In 2001 Lynn was a laureate of the Axion-classics competition. In july 2005 she appeared as a semi-finalist on the ‘Sure jazz-voice competition’ of the Montreux Jazzfestival. Since 2008 she is a teacher vocal jazz at the Lemmens Institute in Leuven, Belgium. Lynn is a singer that performs in the jazz and improv scene in and around Belgium. For that she uses some small electronics. Her music spans different horizons with improvisation and sound as main focus. Taking the extraordinary out of the ordinary and creating little sound mosaics in a minimal, poetic way, while exploring the vast spectrum of sonar possibilities is the best way to describe her path. She is active in different projects from grooving ('Going') till abstract structuring ('Lauroshilau', 'Duo pour 454 Chordes') made music for dance theater, shadow theater, photographs (Stills) and documentary. She released a triple 10" box 'Solo Books' (on Silent Water) containing 'Book of Wood': solo for prepared piano, 'Book of Star': solo for synth/electronics and 'Book of Toy': solo for toy piano's/pendules. Feng Chen received her MFA degree from the Graduate Institute of Plastic Arts, Tainan National University of The Arts. Most of her works are presented by sound. She has taken part in live performances, sound installations, experiment of the relationship between sounds and images and field recordings, etc. She has recently been concerning about the relationship between person-person-environment-time/space. --- ● 张登尧 Deng-Yao Chang 1984年生於新竹，美国马里兰艺术学院艺术创作硕士，2010年回台後持续从事艺术展演、 策划与推广至今，并成立江山艺改所艺文空间。自幼学习钢琴与二胡多年，并参与乐团演 出，聆听音乐类型广泛，从古典传统到前卫实验，近年开始尝试以二胡及唢呐进行自由即 兴与噪音演奏。 Born 1984 and based in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Deng-Yao received his Master of Fine Arts degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore, MD. He has been constantly working on artistic practice, curatorial practice and art promotion since returning to Taiwan in 2010. He founded the art space “Jiang Shan Yi Gai Suo”. He learned to play piano and erhu for many years when in young ages and participated in a well-known local Chinese orchestra. He enjoys listening to music comprehensively, from classical or traditional music to avant-garde or experimental sounds.
