It is based on the conflict that we are experiencing at the beginning of the 21st century, namely that of a world built upon national states, in which people are still not treated equally; in which we still speak about color and race; in which nutrition, health and access to education are still greatly conditioned by hierarchal classification. --- ● 汉斯‧柯赫 Hans Koch (CH) 生於1948年，瑞士比尔，毕业於比尔音乐院、苏黎世音乐院。汉斯‧柯赫属於该国实验音 乐的先锋，除了演奏单簧管及萨克斯风以外，也专研电子音乐。早年先是以古典音乐成名 ，後来逐渐转往即兴音乐。1973-1980年，他以古典音乐为职，任教於温特图尔的音乐学 院（Music College of Winterthur）。1978年结识贝斯手Martin Schütz，并与鼓手 Marco Käppeli共组爵士三重奏，在ECM发行专辑。汉斯‧柯赫在1985年获得卢卡诺爵士 音乐节「最佳乐手奖」头衔，瑞士比尔城市授予最高荣誉的「文化奖」。 1948, Biel, Switzerland; bass clarinet, contrabass clarinet, soprano saxophone, tenor saxophone, electronics. Having studied at the Conservatory in Biel and Zurich, Hans Koch began his musical career as a classical clarinetist, working from 1973 to 1980 at the Music College of Winterthur. In 1978, he met Martin Schütz, also at the Conservatory, and they formed a jazz trio at the beginning of the 1980s, finally settling with the drummer Marco Käppeli. Moving through the Horace Silver and John Coltrane repertoire, they were later influenced by Albert Ayler, Steve Lacy, Anthony Braxton and Evan Parker, gradually moving to compose their own pieces. Performances eventually led to a recording of the trio on ECM and then a second disc the following year (1988) on Sound Aspects. The Berlin-based clarinetist/composer/performer Michael Thieke is equally at home across a broad range of musical environments, such as experimental song forms, collectively composing projects, improvising collectives, and music on the fringes of jazz. He is exploring the minutiae of sound, timbre and noise, with a particular interest in microtonality and related sound phenomena, and with a preference for long-term collaborations and collective work. http://www.michael-thieke.de/ --- ● 郑琬蒨 Wan-Chien Cheng 毕业於伦敦艺术大学传播媒体学院声音艺术研究所，自幼学习古典音乐并演奏钢琴和长笛 ，近几年开始接触即兴表演。曾受邀於伦敦当代音乐艺术节《Many Private Concert》、 Whitechapel Gallery《Music for Museums》与White Cube Gallery《Christian Marclay Solo Exhibition》中进行实验音乐表演。2016年与打击乐手薛咏之组成团体「 Semicircular 半规管」。 除了即兴表演，其作品亦包含声音装置、录像、行为艺术等。她曾在英国Resonance 104.4 FM广播节目中发表作品《The Sound of Criticism》并於伦敦Flat Time House举 办联展《 Bodies That Matter》，今年在台中绿圈圈艺术季举办展览《 ObjectFood 物 食关系》与白昼之夜中发表作品《当我们被迫迁移 Being forced to move and recreate 》。她的作品中探究了声音的可听性与不可听性，以自然录音、电子合成音、音乐和人声 口白作为创作元素，主题着眼於语言、社会事件、环境议题、动物...等。 Wan-Chien Cheng (1986) is a Taiwanese musician and sound artist. Trained as a classical musician and completed the MA in Sound Arts at the University of the Arts London, her works span the audible, inaudible and visual perceptions between sound, music and language that involve in cultural events, social phenomena, environmental subjects and the human. Since 2015, she started to get involved in improvisation performance. By using objects, electronic sound and instruments, she performed the "Many Private Concert (2015)" in London Contemporary Music Festival, "Music for Museums" at Whitechapel Gallery, "Bob Cobbing Members Only " at Raven Row Gallery, and FLUXUS piece in Christian Marclay's solo exhibition at White Cube Gallery.
