Coldplay have recorded a "turbo-charged" dance anthem for their new album,
claims a UK tabloid.
The band are currently working on new material with producer Brian Eno,
who helmed last year's "Viva La Vida".
Drummer Will Champion is said to have come up with a song driven by a
"thundering, 168-beats-per-minute" rhythm, which may feature on
the currently unscheduled record.
"The lads are still on a creative roll in the studio and Will is bringing
lots of ideas to the table", a source claimed.
"He's got a new drum machine and has been having a lot of fun pushing it to
its limits. His most recent offering is turbo-charged, to say the least,
but the lads have been having a great time working with it."
Coldplay are scheduled to complete their ongoing world tour with a pair of
shows at Wembley Stadium in London this September.
