NEWS - New David Bowie Song Previewed At Tibet House Benefit 02/26/2002 Is David Bowie taking a cue from Britney Spears? Unlikely, of course, but in th e wake of Spears's hit "I'm A Slave 4 U," Bowie has entered the slave game with "I Will Be Your Slave," a track from his upcoming album that he debuted at the 12th annual Tibet House Benefit concert last weekend at Carnegie Hall in New Y ork City. Backed by a string quartet, longtime producer Tony Visconti on bass, and drumme r Sterling Campbell, Bowie played the new song as part of a two-song set that a lso included a dramatically rearranged treatment of "Space Oddity," for which h e was joined by Adam Yauch (MCA) of the Beastie Boys. Bowie also joined the Kinks' Ray Davies in an acoustic rendition of "All Day An d All Of The Night," and he was part of the all-star finale of Patti Smith's "P eople Have The Power."
