The Daffodils 咏水仙
I wandered lonely as a cloud 信步闲游，似白云缥缈，
That floats on high over vales and hills 把幽谷馋岩绕遍。
When all at once I saw a crowd 蓦回首，水仙花开，
A host of golden daffodils 璨璨金盏一片。
Beside the lake, beneath the trees 绿荫下，翠湖边，
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze 迎风弄影舞蹁跹。
Continuous as the stars that shine 浑疑碧落银汉，
And twinkle on the Milky Way 洒落繁星万点。
They stretched in never-ending line 绕遍十里芳堤路，
Along the margin of a bay 锦花如带望无边。
Ten thousand saw I at a glance 似三千芳影临风展，
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance 素首齐扬舞袖翩。
The waves beside them danced, but they 柔波拍岸似欢笑，
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee 怎比得，好花迎人笑靥娇。
A poet could not but be gay 词人对景心如醉，
In such a jocound company 无语悄凝眸；
I gaze---and gazed---but little thought 曾不念，凭般美景，
What wealth the show to me had brought 纵黄金万两焉能买?
For soft, when on my couch I lie 只今，闲倚翡榻无聊赖，
In vacant or in pensive mood 无端帐惘，几度沉吟。
They flash upon that inward eye 蓦记起当时梦痕，
Which is the bliss of solitude 添心头无限温馨；
And then my heart with pleasure fills 谱取一曲水仙辞，
And dances with the daffodils 凌波伴我舞轻盈。
