Because of salary-cap eccentricities, Phoenix's only mode to acquire Butler in a trade (beyond including Kevin Durant or Devin Booker, which is not realistic) would be to trade Beal. But Miami is not looking to take on long-term money, which would mean sending Beal elsewhere.
