An MRI on Saturday revealed a strain in the muscle. With a history of hamstring injuries during his career (including two tears), Gasol is playing it safe as he tries to get ready to return later in the series. As for the Bulls, they will have to make some lineup tweaks as they attempt to deal with Gasol’s absence. Taj Gibson will likely get the bulk of the available minutes at the power forward spot, and Nikola Mirotic could also slot in if Tom Thibodeau wants to go with a smaller, more athletic lineup against the Cavaliers.
