1.Protect ethylene diol at one end with silyl group
2.Transform the other hydroxy group to bromide or what ever good leaving groups
3.Deprotonate acetylene with MeLi and take this anion to react with 2.
4.Deprotect silyl group with KF and reduce C三C to C=C (ex. NH3,Na)
5. a.Hg(OAc)2 b.NaBH4, NaOH (Cyclize at internal carbon)
