标题[实验] 有关简单蒸馏实验的问题

1. n-Propyl acetate (bp 102°) evaporates rapidly when
exposed to air, but water (bp 100°) does not. Explain.
2.During a distillation, you observe that the thermometer bulb is dry.
List at least three possible causes, and state what you should do in
each case.
3.When a solvent is used to extract a small amount of a high-boiling
product from a reaction mixture, it is common practice to first distil
the solvent by simple distillation, transfer the residue to a smaller
flask, and isolate the product in a second distillation.
Why not just continue the first distillation to isolate the product?
