He was at Shrewsbury Town, also in League One, in the first part of last season where he made eight appearances before returning to Chelsea. McCormick has been with Chelsea since Under-9s level and was part of the Under-18s side that won a treble of trophies in 2017. His new loan club Bristol Rovers are currently 20th in the League One table and have former Chelsea Academy defender Josh Grant in their squad.
