There were two returns at the Bridge as well, with Joe Cole securing his first Barclays Premier League start of the campaign while Paulo Ferreira returned to league action as a second half substitute, his 100th league appearance in a Chelsea shirt. And there was also a debut as Jeffrey Bruma replaced Ricardo Carvalho for his first match, but out of all three, there was one who stood out for Ancelotti. 'I was impressed by Joe Cole, I know he works very hard and is a great professional,' said our Italian manager. 'After eight months it is not easy to play how Joe played today.
