With the squad having travelled to China, news has filtered through that
Juliano Belletti has joined Claudio Pizarro, Didier Drogba and Tal Ben Haim
in not having travelled.
Belletti, signed by Mourinho last season from Barcelona, is expected to
participate in talks that will decide his immediate future.
The Portuguese giants Benfica are rumoured to be ready to come back with a
second bid for his services whilst, according to one leading tabloid, there
is also an unnamed Spanish club also interested in the right back.
