Johnson, who is on loan at Fratton Park from Chelsea, has missed the last few games for Pompey with the thigh problem. Redknapp has revealed that Johnson could be out of action for several months if he is forced to go under the knife, and surgery could end his time on loan at Pompey. "It is a nasty injury and if Glen has to have an operation, it could be a long job," said Redknapp. "That would be a big blow because he has been fantastic for us.
