Chelsea have one game remaining, at home to Cardiff, a match which will be played at Stamford Bridge on Friday April 21st, kick-off 1pm, the day before the first team's FA Cup semi-final. Southampton have four games left and are still favourites to win the Group, but they have taken just one point from their last four League games and have gone out of the FA Youth Cup on away goals in the two-legged semi-final to Liverpool. Chelsea had Saturday's game won by half-time. Ricardo Fernandes shot the team into the lead before the quarter-hour after showing fine control when Shaun Cummings got away up the left and pulled the ball back. By then Cummings and Fabio Ferreira had gone close. The second goal came around the half-hour mark, Fernandes climaxing a terrific move by winning a penalty which Dean Furman put away. Ryan Bertrand hit the post with a free-kick, and Cummings struck the bar in the second-half. Manager Brendan Rodgers said: “Shaun had a terrific game all-round and with a little more luck would have scored.
