John Terry, Joe Cole and on-loan Wayne Bridge are all expected to start for England against Uruguay tomorrow, Wednesday, at Anfield, but Lampard will not now be involved. Meanwhile, Glen Johnson starts for England Under 21s tonight in the friendly with Norway at Reading FC. Carlton Cole is not included in the squad as he has moved out of the age deadline with the team no longer in the European Championships.
