Drogba was brought down for and scored a penalty in the 38th minute against Morocco in Cairo. It was the only goal in the group stage encounter. But a second-half injury saw him withdraw to midfield for a spell before walking from the field in the 65th minute. If the problem needs anything but a short recovery time, it will be a major concern to Ivory Coast who have already suffered the withdrawal of their other principal striker, Aruna Dindane, due to the death of his daughter.
