Dean Kenneally has started. His responsibility is the performance side of sports medicine, so he will be with the first team on matchdays and will be available for all injuries as they happen. Rob Brinded continues with his conditioning rehabilitation work, and the three masseurs, Billy McCulloch, Stuart Sullivan and Mauro Doimi are joined by Pedro Phillipou, a Cypriot masseur who also has some sporting physiotherapy skills. Bryan says: “We will have the best medical department in the UK when all are on board and by structuring it this way, we have three people who are dedicated solely to rehabilitation, Thierry, Rob and Ian. That means the recovering players will always have the best treatment available. That leaves others like Dean and myself to concentrate on performance first.
