There is this thing called the ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) Ice Bucket challenge going on right now. It's pretty low key so I wouldn't be surprised if you haven't heard of it. ALS is also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. It is a nerve disorder and can cause paralysis in the later stages. The NFL's Steve Gleason is famously affected by the disease. You can donate here. Anyway, the ice bucket challenge has helped raised over a million dollars to fight ALS.
