The New York Daily News that free agent forward Grant Hill(notes) will
decided in the next week whether to sign with the Phoenix Suns, New York
Knicks or Boston Celtics.
Two NBA source told the Daily News that Hill was presented with two offers: a
one-year contract worth $5 million or a three-year deal worth $10 million. It
is believed that the Suns were hoping to re-sign Hill for two years at
approximately $2 million per season.
Hill is deciding between Phoenix, Boston and New York but sources close to
the player feel that his final decision will come down to the Suns and Knicks
because those clubs can offer him a starting job. The Knicks may have the
edge over cost-conscious Phoenix because they've offered a more lucrative
contract, according to the Daily News.
