How can you go under the pick on a shooter like Brooks? INEXCUSABLE. Then the offense in the last three minutes— missed jumper after missed jumper, while the totally useless Perkins stands around, and they double team off Rondo, who is afraid to shoot. Except for Garnett’s one great defensive play and Ray Allen’s drive to the rack, the starters were a big pile of horse manure—- again. ---- The way Pruitt played, Doc should finally realize he should be part of the rotation, and if I were Doc, id even play him more than house right now who is downright awful on the road. ------ What about the starters?! They have absolutely no go -to down the stretch plays other than handing the ball to PP and letting him try to jack it up over the defender. It reminds me of the season of doom. There is no reason we should have trouble scoring at the end of games. We can blame the bench, sure, but the starters shoulder just as much if not more blame. Where are those 25 point leads they used to build up so the bench had no pressure?! ---- Celtics have been very disappointing especially with this lost to Houston. They have no hunger and no energy. It seems they are happy enough winning #17 and have lost that killer instinct. THEY NEED TO MAKE A MOVE!!!
