原文 http://blog.bs2.to/post/theodor/3200 克尔特札记 050722 我的英文能力其实并不好。我能够大量阅读，是因为我的学业需求（例如一个礼拜K掉一百 页的英文），但我的听、说、写都很差。这是为什麽我很少出现在国外 Celtics讨论区的 原因。很多年前我曾尝试过用很破烂的文法发表文章，结果被讥笑该重修美国小学程度英文 （笑，蛮受伤的）。前几天我又试着用很烂的文法写东西，呵呵，蛮开心的，这次被称赞有 点内容（也就是人家看得懂啦）了。 所以我要很无耻地把这点破烂贴在这里留作纪念： In the first two years at Dallas, Nash got a lot of boos from the Mavericks fan s. People has everything to complained of: too much dribble , bad shooting sele ction, blind when in the lane, shot-fist-pass-second minded, poor defense, inju ry prone...all that "the evil of PG" stuff. People are singing the praises of Nash nowadays. Such as: great ballhandler (cf . too much dribble), can creat his own shots (cf. bad shooting selection), outs tanding shooter, high basketball IQ, an "experienced TEAM defenser"...etc.etc. Nash is not a pure PG. However, once he had developed his character, he made hi s team special. It takes time for a PG to develop him own game, to have HIS gam e with his name imprint on it. (Nash: 4 years; Billups: 5 years; Avery Johnson: 6 years) He has to OWN his game instead of adept in an system. As for Banks, he has improved his jump shot the last season and is developing h is pick-and-roll game recently.It's a good sign. P'N'R is important in NBA, esp ecially when the offense flows into the continuity situation. And the very kind s of on-ball-screen skills would advantage Banks. Banks has the speed to breakd own the defense, to force the mismatch, to draw the help defenser, and if his t eamate is keeing good spacing on the court, it'll be much easier for Banks to f ind an open man. The court vision is not to idle around to find the opportunity , but is "to keep sight of the opportunities you created on the court". It's important for Banks to stay focus on some aspects (defense, jump shot, tra nsition game, pick-and-roll game, game situation), to excuse them well, to use his advantage, and to get the reward. Arroyo got his minutes under Larry Brown. He didn't have much time to familiar with the Pistons' system, but he had quickly found his role. He didn't have to be Billups, or to be Larry Brown, all he had to do was to pass out the ball in the set offense and to play pick-and-roll with McDyess in the continuity. I'm g lad that Banks has got his PNR partner (Scalabrine) and truely wish that Banks can stay in Boston one more year. He's gathering the elements of his game, his rhythm, and his confidence. He'll be a tough player some day. Some people said that Banks is only a backup PG stuff. Heck, not only do we lack for a solid PG starter, but we don't have a durable backup either. Why don't we just give Bank s another try and wait till mid-season? The major problem with this team is not "lack a PG". Payton did a great job las t season, but did we past the 1st-round playoff? "Lack of rebound, lack of low- post presence" is our major problem, and the solution (Big Al and Perk) will be in the near-future. Since we decide to wait the maturity of Big Al, what is th e difference between PG-A and PG-B now? (Okay. Maybe Jason Kidd will help us ge t more rebounds.) It make sense if we trade Banks for a star, a top PG player, such as Bibby, or a characteristic PG who will change our team culture. Other t han that, I don't see we have the emergency to trade Banks for another PG. Jason Williams? No, thanks. I can understand that for some spacing reason Doc n eed a PG who can shoot those flare, pop-out or kick-out 3s. Banks is not a shoo ter (neither is Payton). So? Jason Williams? A guy who shot the 3s like Walker did? I'll see Ainge "go for yet another direction" next summer. 好了，让各位见笑完了。 回来谈论交易问题。我认为有一件事情蛮重要的：Ainge 虽然还不善於做出漂亮的交易， 但从消极面来说，这两年至少他学会了一件很重要的事情：没有「好处」的交易就别作。自 从急着倒掉Walker结果换来 Raef的大约之後，你可以发现Ainge的交易越来越「抢劫」。不 管目的是什麽，反正一定有赚头。一年前我还曾经嘲讽过这种作法是要葱要蒜的菜篮族交易 模式，嘿！这几天台风过後，葱很贵的耶（笑）！我跟Ainge在这方面的相性刚好是相反，若 是我，我会倾向为了某个目的（比如说清薪资，或确立球队核心）而倡议一个较为不计代 价的交易。但Ainge从选秀到交易都有一个原则：也许目的性不强，但，一定要有好的bargai n。 这是我比较安心他不会乱倒Banks与Pierce的主要原因。虽然一定会有人打电话来问这个问 那个，也的确Banks正在失宠的状态中，不过，我们没有急躁的交易，没有仇恨的交易（比 如说对某个新人很失望就把他当作垃圾随便倒掉），到目前为止，我们的暑假安静到Celti csblog.com都在抱怨无聊了（呵呵）。 Walker的价码太高，我们也不急着把他签约後交易 ，反正市场会反应。Saras要价高，我们也不急着追价，反正市场会反应。不管Pierce与 B anks的传言如何，最後决定他们会不会被交易的，不是「波士顿有多爱他们或多恨他们」 ，而是「这交易有没有赚头」。去年Banks因为差点被交易到湖人而很不爽，Ainge「安慰」 他的说法是「拿你去换Payton，你应该感到高兴」。呃，我若是Banks大概也哑口无言。 Prices matters，其实我不讨厌Ainge的这种取向，至少我可以不需要为他可能做出蠢交易 而提心吊胆。也许相较於其他球队的大动作，我们显得比较闷一些，不过，以目前的状况 好像也没什麽好急的。未来的球队核心，Big Al还早，Green还早，不管我们未来想要吃什麽 样的牛排，现在我们的牛都还在养。那麽，有什麽补强或交易动作是非得马上进行不可的 呢？ 从暑假动作的积极度来看，在东区之中，目前很有可能从乐透球队杀上来闯进季後的球队 ，也许是骑士以及尼克。这只是也许而已，Larry Brown与尼克的婚姻不见得会被祝福，不消 说Larry Brown与Marbury不搭轧，基本上布朗爷本来就该休息一年的，不然的话以他的健 康状况，根本没办法控制一支球队。至於骑士，Ferry正在帮老板用很快的速度花钱，制服组 展现了很高的效率，就算这组阵容有什麽问题，以这个制服组的能耐，季中调整应该不会 很困难，所以明年杀进季後赛应该不会有太大问题。但，对我们来说，这不是一个很严重的 问题。想想看骑士的状况，Hughes是从巫师挖走的，Marshall是从暴龙挖走的，更早之前， 教练是从溜马挖走的，现在他们也还在与溜马抢Saras。换句话说，目前各队此消彼长的状况 并不至於涉及一个剧烈的东西区生态改变，我们只要继续踏稳我们目前的季赛战绩，四十 五胜，就应该还是有机会咬着季後赛不放。 我们的目标不是争冠，而是守成。两年内不掉出季後赛，第三年以後就看我们的了。 --
