如果我跟你说这一季的Walker状况很好,那我一定是在骗你。Walker
的数据在下降,这跟打法没关系,他每场要到的犯规、罚球命中率、
内外线整体命中率、篮板数都较上一季下滑,且有季初与季末的低潮
期;球队打法没改变,还出现这些状况,对於一个老手而言是很不应
该的。这个暑假,他需要重新回去与训练师Tim Grover一起努力工作,
就像是上一季的季前一样。
Grover,乔丹大帝魔鬼身材的调练者,很清楚Walker的问题在哪里。
就身体上需要加强的部分,他说:
: ``We're going to get back his explosiveness, decrease his body fat
: percentage and take care of his lower extremities,'' said Grover,
: who took in the night session at the NBA's pre-draft camp last
: night. ``He needs to work on his legs to keep them strong for the
: full season.''
需要加强爆发性,减少体脂率,加强下盘,锻链腿部以使撑过一个球
季。倒过来说,这个球季他缺乏爆发力、过胖、下盘不够稳、季末腿
软。季後赛第一轮还能够靠着大脑打球,到第二轮碰上Martin,就被
overwhelmed了。
这是身体改造的部分。另外还有生活作息与习惯部分:
: ``He's got to make a commitment to change his (nutritional) habits
: away from the court,'' Grover said. ``He can work as hard as he wants
: inside the gym, but it's what he does when he's outside the gym that
: determines how that will carry over to your game. Put it this way,
: you're only in the gym for two hours a day. What you do those other
: 22 hours makes the bigger difference. If it was the other way around
: and we had him for 22 hours, he could pretty much do whatever he
: wanted for those two hours.''
It says a lot.你不能指望自己只要来体育馆认真工作两个小时,就
可以回去继续过颓废的生活。不只是运动员,作什麽事情都一样,生
活与工作是环环相扣的,一边顾不好,另外一边也走不长。调整自己
的生活习惯,regularity,这很重要。
